CREATION
The circle became an essential point of my work. It's not just a form, it's a symbol for all the changing life cycles we want to capture and give meaning to. These are symbols, meanings, events, what we each feel and experience.
Contrasting materials and surfaces prevail in Julius Vaitkus Jewelery jewellery. Predominant gemstones and metals combine luxury with delicacy. Sparkling sharp-edged diamonds set in mystical ebony. Deep black appears in the center of the yellow gold circle as a nucleus, as the beginning of everything. The compositions are solid, refined - this is the main criterion of minimalism, when less is more, when there is no need to add or subtract.

WHY IT'S WORTH THE CHOICE
Nowadays, the jewelry market is overcrowded. Jewelry travels from all over the world and knowing who created it and where it was made is increasingly difficult to understand. A few years ago, when I was in New York, I heard that meeting an artist-jeweler becomes a luxury, because even the smallest mature ones are able to organize production in China, India. I myself get offers from India, Turkey with huge catalogs of jewelry, just want, order and trade.
The origin, idea, and sustainability of things are important to me. I like quality, unique things, the ability to communicate and trust. My goal is not just to sell, I want jewelry to please, to be worn. Seeing a ring somewhere on a screen or passing by with "earrings" in the city is the best feeling. I remember every piece of jewelry, in all these years I could tell how I created them, what I was living at that time.
PS I am always happy to update my designed jewelry.
